As part of our efforts to constantly improve SafariBookings.com, we have just launched a new feature that enables you to offer different payment percentages for quote requests for individual countries.
How it works:
Switching on the 'Payment per country' option
After clicking the percentage next to a specific tour on your dashboard page, you can find the option in the ‘Payment per quote request’ section.
Selecting a country or group of countries
After switching on the ‘Payment per country’ option, a list of countries appears, and you can set a higher or lower payment percentage for individual countries or groups of countries.
Smaller countries have been grouped together. You can see which countries are included in the group by moving your mouse pointer over the ‘List of countries’ link.
Using the drop-down box to select a payment percentage
You can set a payment percentage that is higher or lower than the default payment. It is not possible to block quote requests from a particular country. If a country isn’t your primary interest you can lower your payment percentage. As a result, you will receive fewer quote requests from that country and the quote requests that you do receive will be cheaper.
In addition to the payment percentage pull-down, the following information is provided about quote requests from the selected country:
- Level: This indicator shows how many quote requests from this country are for luxury, mid-range or budget tours
- Avg. conversion: This indicator shows the average number of quote requests (from this country) that tour operators need to generate a booking
- Volume: This indicator shows how many quote requests SafariBookings receives from this country. The volume is indicated as a percentage of all quote requests on SafariBookings.
- Competition: This indicator shows how much competition there is from other tour operators for quote requests from this country. The competition can be low, medium, high, or very high.
Saving your payment settings
Once a country-specific payment setting has been applied, the country name and payment percentage will be shown in bold. This indicates that the payment setting for this country is different to the default setting.
Please remember to save your payment settings when applying them from your dashboard page.
Copying payment settings from another tour or from your company profile
Once you have applied country-specific payment settings for a tour or your company profile, you can then easily copy these settings when editing the payment settings of another tour.
We hope that this feature serves you well. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to let us know.
