You have now completed the onboarding webinar and we are ready to advertise your tours and company profile on SafariBookings. Below are the most important points from the onboarding webinar, as well as the requirements for receiving the €500 free advertising bonus.
Webinar key points:
- SafariBookings helps you get potential customers, which we call leads. We don't sell confirmed bookings ourselves. Instead, you pay for the quote requests (leads). From there, it's your job to turn those leads into confirmed bookings.
- Request per Booking (RPB): On average, tour operators need to get 6 quote requests to secure 1 confirmed booking.
- Customer Behavior: While SafariBookings can be very profitable for tour operators, remember that most people won't book, and about 20% won't even reply to you. You can be very successful on SafariBookings despite this.
- Cost per Booking (CPB): The average cost our partners pay for a confirmed booking is 9.5% of the booking value.

How to get the €500 FREE advertising budget
To qualify for the €500 free advertising budget, you must complete all the following steps:

Company profile photo:
- Upload a company profile photo that visually represents your company (your staff, not clients). Check our tips for a good company profile photo.
- If you are located in Kenya (Nairobi), Tanzania (Arusha), or Uganda (Kampala), you should sign up for a photo shoot if your photo doesn’t meet our guidelines. After doing a photoshoot with us, you will receive a high-quality company profile photo. After you finish the other steps below, you'll also get access to all the other photos taken during the shoot.

Reviews:
- Collect at least five reviews. Having many recent reviews improves your ranking on SafariBookings, which means you'll get more requests.
- We strongly recommend using our Review Invite Service. Use it to ask past and recent clients to write a review. These reviews are easier for our team to check, making it more likely they will be approved.

Tours and Advertising:
- Don’t advertise your company profile (set your bid to 0% for the Company Profile) until you have received at least 20 requests.
- Upload a minimum of 15 tours that vary in length, quality (classes), and destinations. Use our Tour Competition Checker for help.
- Set all your tour biddings to a maximum of 1.6%.
- Check the discounts we offer for advertising tours in certain countries.

SafariOffice:
- Sign up and use SafariOffice. SafariOffice is completely free and allows you to build beautiful, user-friendly quotes for your clients in less than 10 minutes.

Add your funds:
- Add €250 to your SafariBookings account. You can do so on this page.
Claim your bonus
To claim the bonus, email us at support@safaribookings.com. Be sure to include your company name. We will then schedule a one-on-one call with our staff to give you more advice and apply the bonus payment.
